The Czech Republic has long standing traditions in beer production. The first brewery was opened in the 12^th century and beer has been a famous Czech export ever since the 13^th century. The most famous beer breweries in the country are Pizen (Pilsen) and Budejovice (Budweis).

The tastings are led by a Beer Master who teaches appreciation of the beer as well as brewing tradtions and production process.
